A lazy, rainy, day...

Another long stare out my window shows a cloudy, wet, and dreary day. You know, the kind where you curl up on the couch with a good book, your favorite blankie, and a hot cup of tea. Yep, that's what I've been doing all day. Multi-tasking - doing a couple of loads of laundry while reading - gotta feel like I've done at least one thing productive today. Got plenty I could be doing, but the established rule for days like today is to relax and enjoy the pitter-patter. As for the rain, it started last night and finally let up a couple of hours ago. But we really need it, so no complaints here.

I'm currently reading _The Last Place on Earth_ by Roland Huntford, chronically the race to the South Pole between Roald Amundsen and Robert F. Scott. An absolutely fascinating read!

Tuesday is the first day of March - unbelieveable...where have I been the past couple of months? Before you know it summer will usher itself in, although it always feels like summer here, with a few temperature aberrations.

The other day, I was asked whether or not I spoke English. Who do I look like, someone that just got off the boat? Had a good laugh over that one...

Nothing really earth-shattering going on with me at the moment, hope your life is more interesting! See you in the funny papers....
